Great for football
A great pub, and a very friendly welcome for my youngest son, our dog Dottie and me! The 3 of us had to have an overnight stay in the Travelodge Tewkesbury, and with us being Welsh, and the England v Wales 6 nations game on it's the law that we had to find a pub to watch the game, but because we had the dog i didn't know if any pub would take us, but the Anchor was the first pub we came across and we were warmly welcomed, with treats for the dog and loads of fusses for her. It was a great atmosphere for the game, and being Welsh there was banter of an adult kind, but it made for a great day, and we chatted to loads of people in the bar. Thanks for having us.
