This home really is home from home. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My grandma has lived at Ashcroft for about 9 months and her transition has been brilliant. She sees the hairdresser weekly. Joins in events and has made many friends both residents and staff. Ashcroft is a credit and I want to thank you all for everything you do
II would just like to say I have read the recent reviews regarding this care home and visited on a number of occasions. This home is lovely and what people should question before writing a bad review is firstly if it was a inadequate care home why would you have a family member living there? And secondly the GP was employed by the NHS and not the care home so if there is any questions in relation to diagnosis of a family members illness then surely this should be taken up with the NHS and not Ashcroft.
My mother in law spent her last year in Ashcroft before she died. The staff were brilliant, the care she received was outstanding.
After reading the previous review I am left shocked and angered, I can not belive the lies iam reading! I can not recommend this home enough, it's brilliant!!!! It is more like a holiday resort than a nursing home, it is truly beyond excellent! The staff have become family and friends and go above and beyond to help the residents. They are the most friendly and caring people, we couldn't ask for anyone better to look after my grandad. They all deserve a medal . We are always welcomed with friendly smiles. The home is brilliant, it hosts a pub, cafe., sweet shop, and sensory room, and even has regular entertainment and wonderful day trips out!!! We couldn't couldn't ask for anything more! Please don't listen to the hurtful lies said on the previous post... Take my word for it this home is second to none, and me and my family couldn't be more happier with the service they provide for my grandad. If any staff are reading this now I want to thank you for all your hard work and the care you give to my grandad Harry beswick you are all super! Thank you for everything you do - Harry's granddaughter Laura ️️️️
