It’s gonna be my favourite place to eat in Amsterdam, me and my mom tried meat shawarma it was amazing, fresh and testy. The guys were very nice they gave us laban for free bc it’s our first time there.
Best place of javastraat! I love the name, the father and daughter duo, their magnetic beautiful eyes! Really welcoming, humble, hard working people. The staff is really friendly and welcoming as well, the place has improved continuously, expecially in the last few years, since I first went (16 years ago). I love their shoarma (nothing to be compared with the Turkish one, all another level!!!) and Pizza! I do love Turkish pizza and I'm Italian!!! Unluckily they don't do it all year long. Thank you. You deserve the best...
You are unlikely to get your Middle Eastern food anywhere else after trying this place. Try their humus, baba ganoush and other home made delicacies, fridge at the back of the store.
The store owner is so kind and chatty if you take the time to talk to him. They offer a GIANT variety of products whether they are canned, fresh, or packaged. The falafels there are really delicious, and they almost always give you an extra falafel or sweet to taste. Very welcoming to all kinds of people. Definitely worth a stop by, because it really is more than just food.
