In spite of broad opening times (which I think is a plus), staff is relatively unfriendly and as a quote, they provide different prices according to whom you are speaking with. This is really not professional and verging on scam.
Great bike hire and very easy process
I had a bad experience with this bike store. I went in for a puncture repair. After an hour's wait (no problem) got a new inner tube for my bike, I cycled off, then heard a snap (!) - something had not been tightened on my back wheel (!!). They apologised and tightened it. I cycled off again and heard a weird sound. They looked at it, swore, then fumbled around. It was clear they didn't know what they were doing. They gave me the loose parts and I carefully walked my bike it to my regular store and they confirmed the gear cable had mysteriously been taken out and got frayed (too short to cut). They didn't understand why the Fietserij would even have touched it. I had to pay 25 euros for their mistake. Avoid!
Super friendly and helpful service. They even allowed us an extra 4 hours as they could see how much fun we were having.
I was looking for a bike for my wife and passed by and saw directly that the fietserij only sells quality bikes for a decent price. Very friendly and professional man helped us and sold us the second hand aliminium gazelle bike. He also gave us, without asking, discount on the extra lock. Martijn.
We came in about 5 min before closing time to return our bikes... which i get is a little annoying. But one of the guys got extremely angry and intimidating the moment we walked in. Yellig at is that we should have come earlier. Was a very very unpleasant experience. If he just said: this isnt cool... than i get that but he got super aggressive.
