Small tiny place with excellent herring, the best of Amsterdam. You can buy to eat there (really lucky if u can get a table) or buy to take away. Definitely worths for 3 euros. The two old men that are behind the bar are really nice and seem to have been doing this for a long time. We bought them to go and ate at home.
Amazing fish! It was very tasty. The chef and the other man, who was working there, were so friendly that we went there to eat two times! A must go, when you are in Amsterdam. Greetings from Germany, near Cologne

Owner is pleasant and helpful. Had the herring, eel and a rollmop. All were great, my favourite was the eel. Really delicious delicate smoked flavour
