reNature is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands on Danzigerkade 5. reNature is rated 5 out of 5 in the category farming in Netherlands. With farmers, communities, businesses & industries, reNature is making regenerative agroforestry mainstream. By designing & implementing model farms and creating educational centres, reNature tackles climate change and biodiversity loss while providing food and income for farmers & communities. Monoculture conventional farming practises have degraded 1.9 billions of hectares worldwide and next generation of farmers are no longer attractive to keep farming this way. In oder to change that, a more regenerative farming practise is needed, therefore our goal is to co-design between businesses and industries a cross-sector commodity Agroforestry production. For example, plant the cocoa that a chocolate company needs, shaded by the palm oil that another aromatics company needs. Shaded cocoa gives high-quality cocoa and palm oil likes a companion plant, therefore a multi-cropping system can benefit two different businesses. Besides providing beneficial ecosystem services, they would improve farmers health by decreasing the amount of agrochemicals and still generate more profit in the long-term. We are now developing a portfolio of regenerative commodity production so that we can offer transitional packages for companies & industries scale their production units. We are focusing on commodities like: soybean, palm oil, cattle, cocoa, coffee, cotton, rubber & timber. reNature aims at making Regenerative Agroforestry mainstream and has teams in Netherlands, Indonesia & Brazil, and over 500 volunteers. Our mission is to reNature. Interested in how you can help to restore nature? Check out our website, sign up for our newsletter, become a member, submit a project or directly fundraise.
