Beautiful Stylish Luxury Hotel at the Amstel River. Traditional Interior. Restaurant with great views on the river. Excellent food, reasonably priced for this quality.
Very cozy old style luxury hotel. Very nice staff. Some of the rooms would need better maintance though. Wonderful terraces to take a drink. Pool on almost Amstel level is a must to visit!
On the banks of the Amstel River is the InterContinental Amstel. As you step into the hotel, you’ll be welcomed by elegant marble floors and 19th-century staircases. Restaurant options are abundant at the hotel – from Restaurant La Rive for French Mediterranean cuisine to Amstel Brasserie for seasonal dishes. Rooms come with lavish furnishings, and suites have private balconies where you can admire the views. Location: Just a short walk away is the Royal Theatre Carre. A ten-minute tram ride will take you from the hotel to Dam Square and the Royal Palace.
The hotel is very classic and amazing, when we got there they gave us a free upgrade to one of the rooms, there cleaning services were excellent and they had plenty of food options in there room service menu, the hotel was near to the old town approximately 15 minutes of walking. The room had air conditioning but it was not so cold yet fine.
Fabulous hotel with fabulous service and rooms. The building is historic and grand. Would definitely stay there again

Great stay, the staff were very nice and friendly. Rooms were spacious, the pool fantastic.The staff was awesome from the front desk, concierge and pool area. Location was easy to walk to, underground station is a block away and so is the light rail. The front desk overnight was great with helping us with getting museum passes to all the right places to visit.
