I'M JAC design was founded 1993 by Irene Maria Jacobs. Irene is a graphic designer specialised in visual communication; digital and print. Originally schooled as an illustrator Irene worked freelance for companies and agents all over the world. After being selected to design the pictograms and illustrations for the Vancouver Olympics 2010 Irene specialised in Graphic identities for mayor sport events, like the Grand depart of the Tour de France and the UCI World championships road cycling. Irene worked on various projects and in different roles. Managing projects and creative teams, art direction, graphic design and illustration. The main focus is to find the best way to communicate a message in a friendly, respectful and aesthetic way. Assignments vary from graphic identities to keynote presentations, magazines, booklets, package designs, brochures and instore graphics. Always collaborating with a team of nine free lancers (marketing and advertising experts, copywriters, webdesigners, photographers, animators, app designers and interior designers) at studio 2 Hoog achter and member of The Free Force.
