The Hogesluis (bridge no. 246) is an Amsterdammonumental double bascule bridge with ten passages, designed by Willem Springer in Parisian style. The older bridge from the 17th century was replaced by the current one in 1883 . The plate bridge, partly bascule bridge , is decorated with decorative pieces of cast iron (with city weapons), a natural stone vase balustrade, obelisks of natural stone with decorated lantern supports and matching lanterns

Десятипролётный каменный разводной мост через реку Амстель в Амстердаме. Построен в 1883 году. Сперва был деревянным. Много раз перестраивался и реставрировался. Мост пешеходный с велосипедной дорожкой. Возникновение названия непонятно.
Unul dontre cele mai frumoase si trainice poduri din Amsterdam. In aceasta zona sunt multe cladiri istorice, care sunt in perfecta armonie cu acest pod. Vederile de o parte si de alta sunt exceptionale, cu ajutorul unui timp minunat de toamna. Numele podului este scris chiar pe balustrazile laterale in stilul specific cu culoarea alb.
