Not for me. For the dinner we had a seafood soup from the appetizer menu. Kabeljauw (cod fish) with the kale and mustard sauce, and I had a bit of the steak I loved the fish soup with the shrimp, the broth was rich, had depth and complexity. The shrimp added texture and the dish came out perfect The cod fish was a not a coherent plate at all. It felt that all the ingredients were just piled on the plate to be used (not wasted, to enforce the “circular” idea of the restaurant). The fermented beans were little rocks on my plate. The mustard sauce was overpowering the delicate fish. And fish would be so much better to be basted in butter with some thyme, finished with butter. The beef - that came from a wild cow - I don’t know how is it possible since we domesticated those animals 10,000 years ago. So this was a runaway cow.. anyway - we were told it was slow cooked for 12 hours Well, it was so chewy! I turned into a cow myself trying to bite through the piece of meat. I shared with the waitress of my opinion, the restaurant was kind to offer my meal free of charge. I like the idea of minimizing food waste, but I don’t like to sacrifice the flavors for that noble purpose.

The location is great, conveniently located at the heart of the \zuid-as\, easy to reach via public transportation. The venue looks impressive from the outside, looks but we weren't that much impressed with the slow service, orders which were forgotten or confused. While all that is understandable for a restaurant that just started, the prices are outrageous, for a small sandwich with cheese you quickly pay 8 euro, or a small (veggie) hamburger (no extras) 10 euro. So, impressive location and seems like a good concept but execution is failing. Better alternatives nearby.
Great place to hangout with friends for a drink and a bite, spacious and cozy place, and beautifully decorated, with a nice view on WTC from the balcony on first floor. The lighting represents the name of place, gives it a kind of cool dark look in the evenings
Food was good, happy to accommodate for a vegan
A good place for lunch, on your own, for work or with others. They're doing an amazing job in combining sustainability, circular economy and quality here! What did disappoint me is the staff, I thought it was a social workplace but since that isn't stated anywhere, I feel like the staff just isn't trained and they pose a stark contrast with the rest of the concept. They didn't know their own menu, brought the wrong drinks on two occasions and for every order another staff member came back to ask what we actually wanted, as if it just didn't register with them. This is a shame, since it would have definitely gotten five stars if the staff was up to the task!
