Once in a while, we go there to buy organic chicken. We love the taste of the chicken and the friendliness of the staff. We paid 7,50 for a whole chicken. It comes in wrapping to heat the chicken in the oven.

Easily, this is the best food I had in Amsterdam. You cannot pass this place up. And if you do, they'll temp you with a free sample. Then you will be sold! Plus, they are super friendly and fun people.
Located in the heart of the Albert Cuyp market, Chris Kip (which translates to chicken) has a variety of chicken dishes which are grilled/smoked and fried right in front of your eyes. The chicken satay was the standout offering, which is much meatier than its traditional SEAsian counterparts, and the peanut sauce was actually sweet opposed to spicy. Credit cards accepted.
