The Artis Zoo is divided into four main areas: the Zoo, the Planetarium, the Botanical Gardens and the Museum of Zoology. In the huge space allocated to countless species of animals and plants, you can admire a piece of each corner of the world, as well as the habitats provided for these living things. Carefully cared for, by a very loving staff, the animals do not lack anything, they are fed and they are offered a suitable living space, imitating in proportions of 90% their natural habitat. It's a place worth visiting.

Absolute magical place even in the rain. The animals are so much closer than any zoo I have been too. Super fun for kids all ages. The zoo is very well cared for. The new space of the elephants is so fun to walk through.

I have never visited this zoo but I think it is a good zoo because the black jaguar which gifted to Sri Lanka by this zoo was amazing . Thank you for giving such a gift and I hope to visit ARTIS after the corona is over. I am Sithuka Sanumitha Angage Perera of Sri Lanka.

Done the evening walk in Artis (zoo). It was quiet interesting, and about nature around us and in the zoo and the city of Amsterdam. You download an app of Artis and with your phone and earset you walk through and around the zoo and will discover a lot of things wich you don't notice during daytime. Its really nice. All animals you still can visite during this walk. It's really enjoyeble and really recommendable. Although Dutch wetter isn't always relyable (it was raining and lightning) we enjoyed it a lot an umbrella or poncho you can buy at the zoo shop

Pictures say more than words. wonderful day at the zoo. Super well maintained (including the toilets). Friendly staff, great construction of the enclosure. love to come back. A student discount is unfortunately only available for the universities in Amsterdam. But 25 are acceptable.
