Very nice modern bookstore in the heart of Amstelveen. Great selection of books available. If they dont have a title in the shop they will effciently and quickly order it for you. Staff very friendly. Need a book? Certainly go there. Highly Recommended
The English Center of Amsterdam & Amstelveen loves Venstra. It is everything a community bookstore should be! We buy lots of English books there and always enjoy hanging out in the smart, friendly sphere. Big thumbs up.

Not many book stores left like this. Knowledgeable people, great recommendations. Decent English section. Great kids section (almost all Dutch though). Nice coffee corner too (the red velvet cake, if available, is a great sweet lunch in itself).
Your coffe quality is trully wonderful, i do love it. Definitely become my favourite place.
You can find good lot of books. Very quiet and comfortable place for reading
This library is one of the big library I have visited and they have wide options of English books and their membership is also very affordable 4 euro per month and people are very helpful. There is one cafe as well and their coffee is really good
