So today, December 9, 2020, appears to be the first day of opening of this new restaurant. We were a great fan of Devdas and were sad to see it decline (in custom, not standard of food) in recent years. We wish this new restaurant every success and will visit very soon. Until then I shall give it 5 stars, based upon their optimism in these Covid times and the new decor. Good luck, guys!

A group of 5 went to try this new restaurant out today. I must say, beautifulatmosphere, friendly service, great menu choice and really delicious food. We were also gifted a lovely Christmas card and a box of chocolate on our way out. What a lovely gesture! Thank you team Amrit. We will be back.
We had our first takeaway from Amrit on Saturday (we were always devdas fans!). It was fantastic! Food delivered quickly, hot and really tasty. The Jalfrezi was lovely - a proper spicy, fresh green chillis dish. Have to say we were impressed with all the dishes we ordered, and will be using Amrit for our next curry takeaway! Thank-you!

5 days in and already this stunning Indian restaurant is a contender for best food in Hertfordshire. The service is excellent and professional, the food is unbelievable and the price was shockingly affordable for the overall experience. We had a mixture of foods inc lamb, chicken and prawn dishes. from sweet lamb Pasanda to medium spicy madras. not a complaint for any dish. The king prawn puree is without doubt the star of the meal and even the paratha and naan breads were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended and I wish the staff the very best of luck with the opening of new restaurant, not that they will need it I'm sure. Will be back as soon as I can.
