This is absolutely beautiful. An amazing cathedral. Be sure and see the light show if you can. We were there in December, and they had the show every night. I think a big anniversary is coming up in 2020. The light show is just breathtaking.

The Cathedral is by far one of the most stunning place of worship that I have ever seen. Its beyond beautiful, magnificent and exquisite architecture. Pardon me if I have to compare, you can forget about visiting the one in Paris, this is more well kept and things to see.. I went there during Spring time so there wasn't much people and it was very pleasant to visit.

We did not go into the cathedral. We only watched the show at night with the video projection at the facade. Very impressive. At one moment I thought that the artists had some LSD when creating the show. Worth a visit!

This place is magnificent. The largest Gothic Cathedral in France, it is so large that its more famous Pairs version would fit inside it twice over. For me though, it is the soaring arches and vaults of the architecture, combined with the magnificent carvings, statues, ironwork etc. that means I could easily spend a day exploring. Visiting with a knowledgeable guide (as I did) or hiring an audioguide will greatly enhance a visitor’s enjoyment and understanding of this UNESCO world heritage site. Originally conceived to house the skull of St John the Baptist, you can see part of the skull in the treasury, or burn off lunch and climb the north tower for great views. Better still, time your visit to coincide with the Chroma event, where the facade is bathed in colour and light.

Incredible cathedral, inside out. But one can't ignore the fact that it is very similar to Notre Dame de Paris, only that it's really larger and personally I believe that Notre Dame de Paris is more interesting from the inside.
