1st time visit and I really would like it if there was one near my house! Loved the whole experience! The food was fresh and loved watching it be prepared!! Can't wait to go again!

Very interesting food selection. First visit to a HuHot restaurant. All you can eat format very well suited for a College town. My wife and i don't eat alot but we had we enjoyed. Topped it with a Rangoon Cheese cake, which is pictured below. Over all good food but a bit pricey if you don't really \dig in\ to the \all you can eat\ motif.
I walked up to the grill, the cook took one look at me and asked if I'd like to have my food cooked separate (I'm guessing he's aware of Islamic dietary restrictions). He cleaned the entire grill, took out fresh blades, and set them up to make a little triangle of space just for my food before taking my plate. I couldn't have imagined better service.
Liked this place. Good place for Mongolian BBQ. Nice clean, lots of choices for veggies and meats and sauces. Make sure to get 5-6 ladles of sauces to make it nice and spicy. You can mix it up with noodles too. Unlike most other Mongolian BBQ places, this is buffet which means you can go multiple times - so really good value for money. Only thing I would like to request this place is to allow either rice or noodles while cooking the stuff. Mixing rice latwr on just does not cut it. The other thing is - if the chefs can use different cooking utensils for vegetarian folks or folks with allergies that will be nice. That way you can protect the Guests' personal choices and preferences better. But will definitely go again the next time I am in Ames. Update: got an update from the restaurant that they do support allergies etc - I guess I should have been bit more specific and explicit about it when I handed the bowl. Thank you for the clarification local team!!
Great place!!! I love the food. Although it is a little more pricey than other places, it's still worth the money!!! Servers were great!!!
