Small museum, but very nicely done, with an easy to follow chronology of the war showing maps, uniforms, weapons and other interesting items. There is a short video which gives good context. Well worth a visit, especially given its location as one of the major areas of threat from which an invasion of Britain could have taken place from occupied Europe during the war.
It's not a large museum but there's lots of interesting stuff in here and a number of uniforms you don't usually see. I've reviewed it in more detail on mechtraveller

Excellent little museum. They have a great collection of uniforms that you would otherwise not get to see.
Wefound this museum via a brochure in our hotel. It is a true hidden marvel for any WW2 enthousiast. The setup (timeline from 1940- 1944) is both ennovating & very educating. even ww2 buffs will find something new everytime.
Amazing amount of original wartime artifacts and a cute cinema too.
