After reading the totally negative review by the person who said \Don't use this post office\ who must have been in a different Post Office in Amble that I use or had Just got out of the wrong side of the bed on that day I have been in business for a lot of years and have dealt with many different Post Offices and different Post Masters. This is the finest post office i have ever used, the staff are friendly and extremely efficient. the postmaster gives good solid advice on any matters that a customer has problems with. The girls behind the counter are friendly and cheerful always happy at their job along with being efficient. Well done Amble Post office definitely 10 Star

Absolutely outstanding. Great advice and superb service. Sometimes busy but always a quick turnover of the queue when they are. Very friendly staff too that go out of their way to help. No wonder they keep winning Post Office of the year.
I can’t rate this Post Office and it’s service highly enough. Brian, the Postmaster always goes that extra mile to help and provides good advice on alternatives or other services should they be relevant. Other staff have always been helpful, professional and friendly. The Post Office is open six days a week until 6pm at night, even on Saturdays. That is service. A point I think that needs to be remember is that the Post Office is not Royal Mail, so issues with Royal Mail ( and other deliveries ) ain’t their bag. Having said that Brian saved my day trying to get a Royal Mail delivery redirected earlier this year when it was stuck miles away in Morpeth. He managed it and even texted me when it was in his hands. Top service bar none. Nigel King.
