I have seen this restaurant a couple of times whilst in Edinburgh, now we went whilst waiting for the train, must say best pizza I ever had in a very long time! The mussels were a bit to salty for our taste , the starter was also delicious so was the desert nice and flavourful..mmmm...creme brulee...yummy! But the pizza..damn that was delicious ...and big size as well!

Loved the pasta and pizza dishes! Amazing pasta, meat and sauce. Also decent portions and good value. Wasn't a fan of my fish dish. Fish cook well with lovely crispy skin, although a bit on the thin/dry side. Also couldnt taste the orange or basil combination flavour suggested on the menu, which was disappointing. Service was excellent. Checked in enough and were friendly and attentive. The waiter also went out of his way to recommend local cocktail bars and went into detail about where they were, what they were like and if we'd get a table (booking difficult with COVID in some local bars in Edinburgh in general at this time). Will stick with pizza and pasta when we go again, these were delicious (as well as the mozzarella garlic bread!).

What a pity we don't live closer. In Edinburgh for a few days and came across this place near our hotel. Inside and outside available to eat and drink. All social distancing adhered to, the staff were excellent, friendly and very attentive. As for the food, just fabulous. Pasta fresh, can highly recommend the fish with artichokes, took a chance, so glad I did. Food extremely tasty. 3 courses, and drinks, under 60, brilliant.

Food was amazing and the service was great. Such a beautiful old building. Look out for the strong room on your way to the toilet, this was obviously a bank in a former life. I'll definitely be back. It felt very clean and safe with all Covid precautions being taken.
