Bought a pair of walking boots just before closing picked the size a wear so hadn't tried them on as same brand of boot but when getting home they was to small so had to return them the next day they guy on the till told me they didn't have the boot in the half size up and the next size was too big I picked a new boot and made sure that they fit before leaving the store, only to be issued with a credit note for the difference in price I argued with the guy on the till I wanted a refund to my card not a credit note... He told me it's store policy to issue a credit note, I got home with the boots put them on went to lace them up and the Revit holding the islets broke off I had to return the boots... Only to be told that they didn't have them in stock... I asked for a full refund only to be told I paid with a credit note my bank card is not a credit note I was then issued with another credit note and told to order online or another store I went to Trafford retail park and the staff there was more than helpful to help me and I was told I should have been issued with a refund by the means I paid as stated online... But because I was issued with a credit note I'm still holding a credit note because of the poor service from Altrincham.

PROBABLY THE WORST RETAILER IN THE WORLD! You only have to read the reviews to clearly get the feel for what type of retailer this is. They're very clever though. Only an outfit headed up by Mike Ashley would have the institutionalized gaul to treat it's customers the way they do, with complete impunity knowing that they can get away with it. One day they will get their comeupunce.
