I review Alsham now despite the fact i think its closed for good. This is the nicest place in town. Staff are super friendly. Food is great and price is good. But they are closed!! Please reopen!!!!!

Love this place. Near to the university. Affordable price of 3.50 for a meal deal during daytime. That has been favorite of me, my friends. We visit regularly for that. Also the Mandi is very delicious! I surely recommend this to anyone who loves Shawarma.
We had pilav there. Firsly, the restaurant had unpleasant smell. Then, pilav did not meet my expectations. Finally, dessert comes with main food. It was Turkish pahlava, but didn't taste like real pahlava. I was dissapointed with negative experience
Great food and service. The mixed grill was fantastic and freshly baked bread the same. The staff are really friendly and helpful and I can recommend the mint tea to finish off.
Absolutely love this place. Come every time we’re in Newcastle and have enjoyed it on every occasion. Authentic fresh and well cooked Middle Eastern food.
