Fantastic independant children's shoe shop in the pretty town of New Alresford. The lady who owns it is wonderful. Knowledgable and friendly and able to put children at ease, as are her team of staff. We go there for my all of my son's shoes since he was little as he has rather wide feet and other high-street shops haven't been able to fit him with good quality comfortable shoes. Billy Goat however are able to offer a choice and he loves visiting to get his shoes, sandals and trainers
What a fabulous independent shoe shop. We visiting this morning for my 1yr first shoe fitting. Jo was so knowledgeable and wonderful with my daughter. The experience was light years better than my experience in Clarke’s with my older son. What I was particularly impressed with is that I asked about buying another pair and Jo suggested I should wait until my daughter is comfortable with her first pair - we’ll certainly be coming back for all the family. Some services are fine. They do the job. Some are exceptional. Billy Goats is the latter. We had a sudden need for new shoes during the lockdown, panic! My daughter's feet are unusually sized and the main shoeshops were rubbish. Jo at Billy Goats went above and beyond to find shoes to feet my daughter, she even dropped them off as we were unable to get to her easily and were worried about long waits with the post service. Honestly I can't say enough about how delighted I am with Jo / Billy Goats and we would definitely use her again. Thanks Jo!
