I work for a local charity supporting the elderly of St Albans, and we use Alphamarque regularly for advice, and for the supply of various products (most often rise/recline chairs) for which we provide funding. We have found them to be unfailingly helpful and efficient, offering excellent service and advice and often going the extra mile to assist with our requirements. The numerous products we have purchased from them on behalf of our clients are of excellent quality and are always delivered quickly. We highly recommend this company.

Surprised at the reviews, given the attitude we have experienced. After years of visiting this store (purely because they have no local competition, & we do try to support local businesses), we've always found you either get heavy sales pressure - or are completely ignored in store. Before lockdown, the male owner tried to sell a piece of equipment clearly totally unsuited to my friend's mum. We tried to explain why it would be of no use but he didn't listen & carried on insisting it was right for her, leaving her feeling embarrassed & under pressure. Had we not been there, she would have bought something totally & very clearly unsuitable for her. The lady owner has mastered that art of not making eye contact with anyone waiting for service, rather than just acknowledging a customer with a \I'm so sorry - I'll be with you soon\. Once purchased, customer service is poor to non-existent. Neither of the owners seem to have any communication skills and if you have an issue with a product after-sales, be prepared to be completely ignored. Too many negative experiences now. We want to support local business but not when it causes this much stress, so will be shopping online for disability supplies from now on, sadly.
