We have been going her for a few years now with the family and took new boyfriend after walk about the crab sandwich’s are great and the are excellent views out to sea and harbour area. Due to restriction could not stay and drink to long after food so will come back again hopefully next year to see sunset on a warm summers day maybe. It really good in the winter snug and welcoming. Think we need to support the UK hospitality and pub and these do it well. Good idea to try and book

This is a great place to eat. The food is superb with plenty of fresh fish on offer. The fish kebab and sole are a highlight. We had a table in the restaurant area with nice views out to sea. Staff are really friendly and all the current Covid measures are followed. Highly recommended

We've enjoyed our crab sandwiches and our daughter had a very tasty cod goujons with chips. As we didn't book beforehand, we were seated in a marquee and not in the main part of the Inn. The marquee was tastefully decorated, we really enjoyed sitting in there getting a view of the local smokery.

Perfect date meal with my wife. Kippers scotch egg and scallops popcorn for starters. I had a lobster salad with crab meat and my wife a fish kebab with an amazing risotto on the side. Desserts were great too, my brownie with blood orange jam was 10 out of 10. All in with drinks 145 which we found very good value for what you get. Don't hesitate and try the Jolly Fisherman!

Pros: very thorough and professional with Covid-19 checks and rules. Polite and efficient staff. Fairy reasonably priced food and great location. Cons: I last visited the restaurant in July 2018. At the time we were all blown away by the menu and the service. Tasty dishes, different to what one normally gets or would expect and a waiter who made it feel like an occasion. Now the menu has changed, reverting to more generic fare you could get anywhere else. In another change which suggests an attempt to court the masses, they now play middle-of-the-road mum & Dad/radio music, rather loudly. Finally, I had a few flies constantly flying around my table which is never good for a restaurant. Overall: it's no longer good or unique enough to justify a trip to Craster for a meal. However, if you're in the area already, you'll have a pleasant enough meal.
