While on vacation in Portugal with my wife and two close friends, I was asked to pick a place to eat dinner. After some brief research i picked Resturante Figueiral, which turned out to be an amazing experience. Our waiter Andre and waitress Olivia were outstanding. They left a huge impression on us all. The food was a five star experience. We loved this place so much that we decided to go back a second time for our friends birthday a couple days later. We were greeted very warmly at the door by the owner and full staff. We enjoy engaging people in conversation and was delighted to see the freedom the the staff are given to talk with us. At one point Olivia sat down with us like she had known us forever. I can't say how much this meant to us. I very highly recommend this restaurant. If we ever make it back to Portugal this would be one of the restaurants we would gladly revisit.

Picanha is a must!!! Desserts could be better though.
Visited the Figueiral many times over the years during trips to Vale do Lobo. My partners family has been eating here for 20 years when staying in the area and I'm so glad it's something I've gotten to experience. Family run, very, beautiful setting and excellent food as well as good value for money! Will be visiting when I return to Portugal next year and every year after that. I urge you to try.
Excellent food, reasonably priced, good atmosphere and lovely friendly service as always. Has been my favourite restaurant in Algarve for many years.
