We asked for a “buffet” for mourners who had attended a funeral. With the challenges posed in these difficult times Allington produced a socially distanced lunch with a selection of sandwiches and savouries and an ample supply of cakes. All this was of excellent quality at a reasonable price everyone was very impressed and complemented the choice. Well done Allington !.

During the covid19 lockdown this shop has been a gem to visit. Staff are friendly, the goods are fresh and you can find many things from fresh veg, fruits, eggs, milk products, meat, frozen fruit you measure out yourself, pasta, bread, sweets, cakes... There is also a garden centre - but I have not visited that part. Due to the lockdown the cafeteria part is not open either. My new faves beside the steady love of pork sausages is the meringue drops and the brownies! Heaven! Car park available and it is step free.
A fantastic farm shop. Lots of food provenance available, so you know exactly where the food has come from and how many miles it has travelled - generally very few. The butcher is amazing, and there are lots of lovely locally produced jams, pickles and condiments. Great staff too.
Best turkeys ever, this year's was gorgeous, a bit larger than normal because of Covid but we certainly are enjoying getting through it. The little gadget that pops out when the turkey is cooked is brilliant. The brown meat is as good as the white meat. Thank you again, Allington Farm Shop for giving us such a lovely Christmas lunch and lots of lovely meals afterwards. Forgot to add that the box the turkey comes in is great for storing Christmas decorations.
Polite staff, good implementation of social distancing. Lovely coffee lovingly prepared. We stopped on the bike for a breakfast, food was of a high standard but too expensive. Will come again but only for coffee and cakes.
