As a semi-regular customer I am normally very pleased with the friendly service and tasty food. However, I was disappointed recently when I ordered a large portion of chips at a price of 3.80 and this is what I was served. I am not sure if Allestree Fish Bar have recently decided to make this change to their service but I feel this definitely does not represent value for money.

Cannot complain about a single thing - place is always pristine, top notch service all year-round, food consistently delicious, never have been disappointed. (Understandably) Large queues during lunch times make it quite difficult to get food within set time limits, just a heads-up :P
