I just had surgery and I could not be more happier with the decision. I had the great opportunity to have DR. Chaar has my surgeon and what a fantastic experience. He is very friendly and makes sure you understand everything and that you are comfortable. If you are thinking about having bariatric surgery or know if someone is thinking of getting the place to go to is Dr. Chaar and the staff at St. Luke’s weight management.

After being reluctant for years to have this surgery, I finally decided to do it, and choose Dr. El Chaar from hearing many great reviews from other people. He did no disappoint! He was so kind and listened to my concerns and made sure I didn’t worry. I have also always been fascinated by the robotic surgery,which he only usually does on a Tuesday (my surgery was a Monday). He moved things to make sure he had time to do my surgery robotically! I couldn’t have asked for anymore!! He and his staff have been so welcoming and kind throughout this whole process and through hard work, dedication and his help I am now down a total of 67 lbs!! It has only been 3 months since my surgery and I have a long way to go yet, but I know I’m in great hands!
