I have made two orders with Allcraft. I wasn't overly pleased as the 2nd order has taken 23 days to materialise with little contact, or updates, but I did receive an apology by email and a phonecall yesterday, so this is appreciated, thank you.
My concern going forward, I am hesitant to order again as even though the items say that they are IN STOCK, it seems they are often not in stock at all, hence the 23 day wait.
I run a subscription box business, so I need to know in advance how many units of a certain item I am going to get so I can plan the contents of our boxes. If I order 200 of something, and only 12 turn up, I am frantically then trying to source the rest elsewhere as I may have promised my subscribers that this item will be in the boxes !
So my problem is that I may not be able to use them again, or perhaps need to email them first to find out what products they have plenty of stock of before I order.
In addition to this, when I first applied to be added to their site, this took two weeks plus. I didn't hear anything, and even emailed to ask and got no reply. when I placed my first order, this went well over the turnaround estimate too, and I had to chase this by email (Again no reply)
When that order came, it was approx. 100 less than the order, due to most of what I ordered being out of stock.
So the end result, two orders placed, both were let downs completely, with just an offer of 10% off if I order again, after having told them that I probably never would, as it's just too risky to wait 2-3 weeks then to be told your items aren't even in stock. Nope, not for me, the search for a decent art supplier continues......
