It is claimed that there was a church here in the C10th very likely wooden and replaced in the early C11th in stone. The oldest part of the current current building is the chancel and the south chapel which were built in the C13th with the western tower being added in about 1375. In the C15th the Guildhall of St Mary was added to the south of the church. All Saints is a Grade 1 listed building The church is normally open for viewing.
