Very efficiently managed by the most friendly staff. We were greeted by a very friendly store assistant at the door. There's a \one in one out\ policy in operation at the store to ensure that the premises are COVID safe. After consulting the menu outside, orders are taken inside and there's one directional flow to reduce contact points. There is an abundance of delectable items on the menu ranging from Rasberry Crisp Brownies to Honeycomb Ice-Cream and Yorkshire tea. The ice cream and the tea were absolutely satisfactory. The service time was quite long but worth the wait.

What a wonderful discovery of this charming cafe. Cakes are fabulous and their scotch egg is made with local sourced pork meat. It’s so fresh that pork stays pink! Wish I could swim in the lake (only for fishing). They take Covid very seriously. You will feel very safe there.

I have visited a few times and always had a great experience. Really knowledgeable and helpful staff regarding allergens. As someone with several dietary requirements, it was amazing to have some choice on a menu. As others have mentioned it isn't the cheapest place, however gluten free ingredients are a lot more expensive, therefore I think it is understandable.

A great little lakeside cafe just a short walk out of Southwell. With plenty of outside tables to combat social distancing, including outside heaters for when the weather turns. We enjoyed a great late morning 'brunch' including a seriously loaded & tasty breakfast butty. Well worth a visit.

Just as through the entire pandemic, the staff here are making sure the customers stay safe but they don't let it affect their fantastic customer service or amazing cakes and hot drinks
