Strictly an average place for meals. It is run by some "Mahila Udhyog Samiti (Women Empowerment Group). The women from economically lower class have been given opportunity to work here, cook food and also serve etc. The facility seems to have been made available to them by some Social Work people in area. A good initiative, but that may not be reckoned as business model. It's a kind of Social Work. All the best to them.

A small yet pleasant place which provides you with some delicious Home cooked food. The backbone of this hotel are the women who cook, serve and manage the place. This place is not crowded as its located inside a small lane but people who once taste food from here will sure comeback. This place was recommended by the owner of the guest house we were staying though he too provides food over at his place. Food is very tasty and you can feel the amount of love they have put into it. There is a bit of delay in serving, dal and bhaji do get warm by the time rice is given. Rates are reasonable with Veg Thali at 140 and Chicken Thali at 220 and prawns Thali at 360. One important point to note is that they don't have online payment modes or card swiping machine, they take ONLY CASH. Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely visit again while in Alibaug

Fantastic food, A feast for non vegetarian. Limited but Amazing options and worth your spending. I visited twice in 3 days in Alibaug. Simple decor of money plants which mouthwatering thali. I will definitely visit once again rather again and again whenever I visit Alibaug. Keep it up.

A hygienic and homely experience, Kasturi restaurant is run by a group of endearing women who make some great food in the local style. The seafood thaali is great and bhakri is available too. It's quite simple otherwise, no aerated drinks etc. Must visit if you are looking for local food. I think it's only open for lunch.

Simple and tasty seafood. Since it is famous a lot of people visiting Alibaug come here for dining. Sometimes overcrowded as well. Worth the wait.
