Best Indian Takeaway in the area, superb food, great service, thouroughly reccomend.
Used to always swear by Ali spice and their food, hot on arrival and very tasty. But I have noticed over the last few months with deliveries they get later and later. So far tonight it is over 1 hour late. I spent 40 mins trying to call through to find out what was happening. I could not believe the rudeness I was given when I asked why the meal had so far not arrived and an hour late. Little apology and basically was told well not our fault its Saturday. When I was asked if I already paid I said yes and the response was..well that is alright then and he point the phone down. Well Ali spice never again
I've used ali spice for many years. Usually excellent. Last night wasn't for several reasons. Your ordering system is a chaotic farce, wrong name on order, 45 mins late after been quoted an hour and you cant get into the shop to collect or even enquire due to people being allowed to sit in and wait. (A hinged collection only counter in the corridor would definitely help). Item missed and I don't know what's going on with the rice. Basmati pilau rice is a premium product. What I received was something akin to the cheapest products available, almost no full grains just broken and part grains, much of it blown and overcooked. Overall extremely disappointing. You're spoiling something that was great guys with chaotic ordering/collection and deteriorating quality.
Always met with a smile. Nice and polite and hard working group of guys. Food consistently good and tasty.
