Asked for a repeat prescription 3 weeks ago and never got one because I apparently need a review and I know I wasn't told this on the phone when I asked for a repeat prescription but I didn't find out until I had already ran out of medication. I was then given an emergency prescription on Friday afternoon but didn't get a text until Monday to say it was ready so these meds would take me to next Friday. I suffer with memory issues which means I rely on reminder texts a lot (which I didn't get for this review which appears to be today). Missed 3 calls within the space of 5 minutes and the last call by just a few minutes and now I go to call them back at 10:40 (missed call at 10:37) And the receptionist starts being passive aggressive with me saying that she cannot transfer me to the doctor because the doctor is now on another call. When I replied with \so the doctor knew I was going to miss the calls and planned ahead with another call with a patient a few minutes later?\ She went silent briefly where I just put the phone down in anger. Something so quick and easy to resolve now goes unresolved because these people are so obsessed about the book of rules that they aren't prepared to bend them in the name of customer service once in a while. There's been no consideration for the reason behind why I might have missed the calls (and my doctors should be the first people I expect to understand) and I still have two medical issues that haven't been looked into yet that I went about around a year and a half to two years ago. I'll be putting a complaint in via the surgery for neglect and some other minor issues in the past because the place is getting worse now - If that complaint isn't taken seriously then I'll take it higher. The only thing professional about this surgery now is the look of the place

I usually have very good experiences at Parkside Surgery and the Drs are always very kind and caring while being thorough with their job. I never feel rushed during appointments and am always given the time I am needed. However, I have a constant problem every month. I need fit notes from my Dr every month, these notes can not be dated forward and, because they need to be sent off, I have a limited time to get them before a deadline. But every month there’s always an issue, typically the dates on the note are incorrect and these have to be correct every time. Most of the time when I am trying to call the drs to get this rectified no one answers the telephone. When I do get through the receptionists are always lovely and I have to go through the same routine of what I need and clearly stating the dates that need to be on the notes. So far it’s been 50/50 on if the second note has also been done correctly. If it’s not then I have to go through this process all over again. If I miss my deadline it has serious consequences on my finances and this whole process is a constant strain on my mental health.

12 day wait to have a 3 minute phone call is not acceptable. Thing is, I've already had a phone call and a video call which I waited a fortnight for. I'll figure it out myself. Hopeless

Best surgery I've ever been to. Staff are great, the Doctors are too. They always listen and take you seriously.
