Alfonso Gelateria (Oxford)

My partner and I started going to Alfonso's when we were working from home last summer - it was the perfect treat at the end of the day and we couldn't stop going back. The gelato is absolutely delicious (certainly the best we have tried in Oxford), my favourite flavour is Mango but there are always amazing new specials to try too! Lewis, the owner, is lovely and we are very lucky to have authentic Italian gelato here in Oxford! We have since moved a bit further away, but we are now driving to Woodstock to keep up the gelato obsession. Can thoroughly recommend!

Oh my stars! THANK YOU!!!! That dark chocolate was sensational. The packaging had a hole in it though and it vanished in one evening! Just kidding- we ate it all up. Crazy good! And I wish you could have seen everyone’s faces light up with chocolate covered coffee beans on the BEST coffee ice cream ever made in the history of the world. Lewis- You are an angel descended from heaven! You have given us such joy during this dark cloud. Thank you very much indeed! Keep well! We will be back!!!

Easily the best gelato in Oxford! Outstanding delivery service. Great flavours, I recommend Pistachio and Hazelnut. Thanks Lewis for bringing a bit of Italy to our doorsteps.
