I would not hesitate to recommend BirthCare to anyone considering an out of hospital birth. I went into pregnancy being scared and feeling like I had to fight to be respected as a person and not just an incubator but once I started seeing the Midwives at BirthCare I never felt like anything less than a strong, respected momma-to-be and they helped ease my fears about birth and prenatal care! I appreciated that they view birth as a natural process and not a \condition\ just waiting to find problems at every turn. I didn't feel rushed during my appointments, I felt that recommendations or tests were explained fully to me and I was allowed to make my own decision based on that information and understanding, and I felt like the midwives truly cared about helping me have a positive birth and prenatal experience! Tana attended my birth and I cannot say enough good things about her. She was calm, supportive, and knowledgeable. I felt safe and respected the entire time and can honestly never thank her enough for helping make my son's birth such a positive experience for me. I also appreciated their follow up care following the birth. They do a home visit which is so much easier than going to an office appointment with a days old infant and they were very helpful with recommendations for improving breastfeeding. Dorothy recommend an evaluation for a tongue-tie from the beginning which turned out to be one of the biggest reasons my son couldn't latch. Since she made the recommendation so early on, we were able to get it clipped fairly soon which is the biggest reason I was able to keep breastfeeding. I could say more positive things but I'll just conclude with saying that BirthCare is the perfect place if you are looking to feel empowered, supported, and respected throughout the process of pregnancy and an out-of-hospital birth while still providing excellent medical care and expertise.

I’m so grateful I delivered my third child with the midwives of BirthCare. It was everything I wanted for my pregnancy and delivery. They were a great blessing. I would choose them again if I ever have another baby. They are all excellent midwives!

Midwives in the practice are outstanding. Office staff is uneccesarily rude and makes scheduling difficult.
