A great park, the playground is open during this lockdown, what a relief
like
Nice place to visit, take your children or walk your dogs - there are a big field, playgrounds for big and small kids, tennis courts and basketball courts too.
Depends what you want from your local park. If its swings, tarmac perimeter footpath, mixed recreational sports pitches, basket ball hoops, tennis courts, hard surface football, bowls club, dog walking and parking nearby Alexandra Park ticks the boxes If you expect finely turfed football pitches and an on site Café its probably a no for you. Lived here 15 years and still can't work out when the toilets are supposed to open.
Has lots of grass and football goals. Great place to go if you want to play or watch football. If you're interested in ornithology, then it is not so great, aside from the odd pigeon.
Great local park for Dog walking... and doing some sprints.
