I contacted Alex at the beginning of December because I was experiencing extreme addiction/compulsion to eat sugary foods and I felt totally out of control with it. In three sessions he has worked with me to help me understand my mind and how it was working (which in itself disarmed a lot of the power chocolate had over me), delved deeper into my subconscious mind to find what the “real problem” was (one of the most profound and cathartic experiences of my life, that I will never stop telling people about! We found that I was self medicating to protect myself from internalised anxieties I didn’t even realise I had!) and finally to wrap up and solidify my progress on the right path. I am no longer at the mercy of “sugar”, can now take it or leave it, and am feeling so at peace in my mind and vibrant again. If you are in two minds about hypnosis, please know that it is not scary - it’s remarkable! Please commit to your healing and give Alex a call, he will put you at ease immediately. His service has truly changed my life and that is priceless. Thank you so much Alex!

My main reason for seeing Alex was for exam anxiety which was so severe that I was seriously considering quitting my degree. I had been able to push myself through the written exams, it was the practical ones I was having real problems with. Now all my exams are done and I passed every one :-) Although it is fair to say that I was still nervous before each exam, I did not get the nausea, migraines or the compulsion to run away that I had before. I also was able to sleep without waking up in the night with the feeling of dread. Alex also helped me with my constant feeling that different parts of my mind were pulling in opposite directions - it feels like they are all walking pretty much the same path now. There are still times when some parts pull more than their fair share, but there isn't the exhausting conflict that was hindering my progress before. Something else that changed (and was particularly interesting as I didn't even mention it to Alex) is that I used to have a tic / twitch in my throat that was caused by chronic stress. I'd had it for 8 months and after my second session it had gone. Alex achieves results through a wide range of methods, and if you or he feels that something isn't working for you then he adapts them or goes with something different. He also taught me some strategies / techniques I can use whenever I need them. I am so grateful to Alex for helping me to improve my life. I had seen many different types of therapists before, including a hypnotherapist, and also had done A LOT of reading self help books, websites etc. Much of what I had read, spoken about at sessions with other therapists, and techniques I had practiced made sense, but knowing / understanding something didn't mean that there was any change in my reaction to situations, or the effect that my past was having on my life. What Alex did was the bit that no-one else had helped me achieve - real change!

Literally saved my life! I was suffering severe depression and anxiety due to the breakdown of my marriage. I was unable to work as an author and gave Alex the goal of getting me writing again. In 3 sessions Alex did more than the past 12 months of counselling and other treatments combined. I'm cautious to say 'miracle cure' but if you're open to hypnotherapy techniques then major changes and progress can be achieved in a very short time. A far healthier alternative to anti-depressants! I only wish I'd tried this earlier. I recommend Alex for his personal and bespoke approach. He employs a variety of techniques to engage your subconscious and prepares meticulously for each session. An excellent hypnotherapist.

I was at a point with my anxiety that I had forgotten what calm felt like. I forced myself to walk through Alex's door and I never looked back. He very quickly made me feel relaxed, his passion and confidence in what he can do left me feeling excited and in safe hands. I now know I was, my life is very different and every day I am thankful that I hardly remember the anxious person I was a few months ago. I would, and continuously do recommend Alex. A Truly talented and caring man.

I think it is safe to say that I don't bottle things up. If something is bothering me, the world and his wife will know about it. That being said, my anxiety was getting no better. No one had any magical solution as to how to flick off that switch inside my head that would stop anxiety getting the better of me. That is until I met Alex. I left my first session feeling lighter and calmer. By my second, tidy up session, I feel completely different. I used to spend a great deal of time wondering what it would feel like not to have that heavy, lurching weight in my chest. Now I don't have to wonder. Goodbye anxiety, hello life. Alex, I cannot thank you enough!
