Homemade flour and corn tortillas. Chorizo and bean taco is so authentic that I could imagine them making it and it skidding around in the pan. Very inexpensive

Great place to get an authentic taste of the West Side, including corn tortillas made daily. Alejandro, the Maestro of the cocina, serves up delicious affordable eats. Try the Carne a la Mexicana plate. Lunch for about 7 bucks including a tea. His wife and kids are often found at the cash register and serving tables. I've been eating here for years, and every visit is a treat.
