The central attraction of Albi. The towering structure is the biggest brick building in the world. The organ inside the cathedral is the biggest organ in France. The cathedral is beautifully decorated with wall murals. Definitely recommended.

An interesting church, it’s a must see in Albi. It’s in the city center and surrounded by many small shops and restaurants. I love the mixed colored walls, it’s amazingly painted. Some walls also you can see it has a 3D arts. However the church was built around 666 to 667. It’s a huge church and every corner is a piece of art. It has a wonderful garden inside.

Absolutely must-see attraction! Beautiful and authentic, very important historical monument. You will enjoy your visit much more if you read about Albigensian Crusade in advance. I highly recommend you to take audio guide, it is very informative and interesting, worth every cent)

it is almost all you have in Albi if you plan a short visit like half day Outside and Inside of cathedral is quite opposite as outside of the building is very plain and simple just stones up to the top, but it is very fancy and rich inside. it looks like they have kept the wealth inside and when it comes to people they just showed their face of plain, cold and one color stone wall...

I really love cathedrals and their architecture history. The one in Albi is one of the most unique cathedral I've ever seen. Its mixture of styles and the fact that it is the largest brick establishment in the world makes this place a must stop place for all architecture lovers and history fanatics (this place had a major roll in the fight between the Catholic Church and the cathars).

Two centuries were necessary for the construction of this cathedral-fortress, 1282 to 1480. Today it is one of the most visited cathedrals in France. Santa Cecilia offers an important contrast between the exterior rigor of its defensive architecture and the interior richness of its sumptuous decoration. It is really impressive to see its dimensions.
