If you end up here.. get out now while you still can. I broke my arm in merible, was left in bed for over 48hrs unattended to. Surgery poor, and 12 months on my arm is still broken due to poor work performed. Nursing staff abusive, they hate English people and refuse to make any attempt to communicate. I was discharged with no pain medication and was in agony on flight home. I'll never go to France again... I'm in the process of working out what legal claims I can bring for the poor work performed. I have a screw protruding from my shoulder by 10mm which prevents proper movement. The NHS have me on the urgent list.. sadly covid has slowed this down.

Probably the most uncaring and unprofessional staff in all of France

My Father had an accident (bad rupture) and had to get a surgery here. They let him wait in bed two whole days until they operated on him. After the surgery he laid in bed for another four days without moving him. Two weeks later he died of a pulmonary embolism. It is most likely that he died because of the unusual treatment, serveral physicians in Germany said. The medical standard (in Germany) is after a surgery to step on you feet (with help) after at least two days to avoid that kind of harmful complications. Another negative fact is that it was very hard to get the necessary information (documents etc.) for the insurance so that he could be transported professionaly back to Germany. I hope some persons in charge read that and rethink there strategy and there procedures especially during the skiing season. Hopefully nobody of you gets hurt or sick and needs a medical treatment in that hospital. Good luck.

Arriving by ambulance after a serious cycling accident I can safely say this was not a great experience. I was made to feel like a third rate citizen by all staff other than the actual doctor. I spent 7 hours here receiving a scan and x-rays and was released on crutches barely able to move. There was no care or warmth at any stage and at no time during the 7 hours were my family allowed to even say hello even though they were literally the other side of the partition in the waiting area. A truly horrible experience which made me value our own NHS even more.

My husband broke his back, they were quick at getting him checked and a CT scan done. He was admitted and in his own room within 3 hours of arriving. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only issue was getting transported out, took 3 days to get it organised but this wasn't the hospitals responsibility.

Very helpful and friendly staff - swift treatment in emergency and great care on the ward. If you have to have a ski accident then this is a good place to be treated

Came in with three broken ribs and damaged lung after an accident from skiing. Staff is very professional, I got more than enough time with the doctor explaining my situation. The intensive care were punctual and cared for me in a way that made me very comfortable despite the pain I was in. The younger staff speak very good English, and the older ones really try to communicate with you even though they struggle with the English, and when that fails they got help from colleagues when something important is discussed. The administration helped me to get the max out of my insurance when I was discharged, and they provided me with comprehensive documentation to bring back home to my doctor, according to my health centre. Only negative remark is the food, it’s nutricious and varied but not very enjoyable. Blessed to end up here in my situation.
