Albert Park, a park for all seasons. The best park in town!

Still the best park in the area overall. It may not have some of the features of other parks but it's one of the oldest, is nicely located (in that it's closest to the town centre) and always has a nice vibe to it. Hopefully the council look after it and invest in it.

A beautiful place to spend our free times with our friends and families. The calm and quiet atmosphere really helps us to be relaxed. A good place to do exercises in the morning and evenings.

Lovely, clean park. Lots of room and seating well spaced. Children's play area is well managed and maintained. The cafe was not open , but it is lockdown. The water looks clean and the birds were loving the sunshine.

A very pleasant oasis in an urban neighbourhood. Lovely trees and winding paths. It dates back to victorian times when the town was young. It was revamped a few years ago with EU funding. A large pond has a variety of birds including swans. In normal times there is a roller skating rink, children's play park tennis and cafe. The whole park was closed during the lockdown last spring which was a big mistake in my opinion.
