Often pop in for a quick lunch or a coffee. Staff always welcoming and friendly and most speak some English if you don’t speak a word of French. The plat du jour is good value and I often take that as it’s quick and fresh. Plenty of other choices too and the steak or burgers are also good. It’s a great location for people watching on the terrace in the warmer weather. It’s a brasserie so if you want casual dining or coffee it’s great, if you’re looking for white tablecloth service then look elsewhere.

Finding somewhere good to eat in France on a Monday evening can be challenging, but look no further at anytime. Varied menu, good honest food cooked well, friendlymand efficient service. Highly recommended.
Good attentive service from the waitresses at lunchtime, after exploring the museum close by. Wonderful platefuls of tasty food, good variety served to all around us at a busy time
Amazing. The food was perfect at a reasonable price. Best Burger I have ever eaten. Choices for everybody with any dietary need. Perfect location with a great view of the square. Service was great and the food came quick. Defiantly the best option in the local area by far.
Came here for the first time having visited other establishments in the area. We found the seating placements very pleasant under a canopy and in the town square. Our waitress was quick to welcome us and take our order. Good points over. Drinks were quite slow to arrive and the meal took a lot longer. There was no bread or water provided (where other places usually do). Wife complained to me that her ham tasted a little 'off' and that her fried egg was burned on the underside however we did not raise the issue with staff. My steak tasted good, was cooked to my liking but was very chewy and fatty. Shall come back next year.. but not for food.
Excellent service. Food and drink was delicious. Highly recommend if visiting Albert.
We ate here on a Monday because it was one of 2 places open in town. I didn't get sick afterward, which was a pleasant surprise.
Great place and atmosphere. Food excellent. Not 5 stars only because the service is very slow even though it's very friendly. Perhaps that goes with the idea of Hygge.
