This hospital is not that great. This morning I woke up with swollen ankles and my whole lower half of my body was in EXCRUCIATING pain. I’ve never felt this type of pain before so I was scared and I KNEW something wasn’t right. We go in and it’s like the nurses didn’t believe me even after looking at my ankles or just didn’t give a dam. Went in for an ultrasound to check for blood clots that might have cause the swelling. Nothing. Ok cool. So I’m waiting there for a good 2 hours before I’m told everything is ok and I’m good to go. They didn’t even check my FEET. They didn’t check the reason why I was in for. They didn’t do nothing about my feet but told me to elevate them and take pain medication. Now, I’m not no doctor but I can TELL when something isn’t right with my body. But nope. Gave me a huge shot of pain medication and sent me on my way!! Will not be going again. Waiting for the pain medication to go away before visiting another hospital.

I'm never going back to this hospital again. I got into an accident at the beginning of the month. My chest hurt so bad to the point it hurt to breath. I waited over 45 minutes to be seen and when I finally got in, they out me in a gown, doctor came in checked my heart rate, my respiration and did a couple of pushes to my chest. When I said it hurt he proceeds to tell me thats normal and because I'm young, I'm resilient and should be fine and that my bruise will get bad over the next few day. Well after a couple days at home my primary doctor asked if I wanted to be checked I said yes due to it hurt to BREATHE. Found out I had a fractured rib. MY DOCTOR took care of me, MY DOCTOR took my injury seriously, MY DOCTOR helped me. Albany hospital did not. Don't go here. Edit: I'd like to add that I have insurance when all of this happened. About 2 weeks after I got a bill of almost 500 because according to them they \canceled\ my insurance, putting it in my record I had NONE. When I told them my provider and who I go to for regular check ups. 10/10 to the service desk people. They were really nice.

When I spoke of the care God provided for me, especially this last week, I forgot to mention that I was blessed and impressed by the level of care, compassion and kindness provided to me by some of today's young people. First off, the two young men at Winco who took the time and effort to unload, check, bag, reload and then transfer my groceries to my car. Then there were the young fireman and paramedics that assisted in caring for and getting me to the hospital. Once there, I was surrounded by young people concerned with my wellbeing that were elated and excited when the medication started working. I am so appreciative of each one who played a vital role in God's plan for me. Then there are MY young nurses, assigned one on one care of me. I and my life was of value to them as if I were an endeared relative seeking their care. I must say I met some amazing human beings during all of this and will always be grateful to have been treated in a manner that showed the value they place on the life of another as opposed to just being present another day at their JOB. I could stay they restored my faith in humankind, however that is a saying, and my faith is in and belongs to God. Let's just say, even in this crazy world, goodness and kindness abound. Just keep and never quit looking.

Took my gf in because her ankle was swollen to twice it's usual size. I had to wheelchair her in because of the pain she was in hen she stood. They then proceeded to tell her it might be a blood clot and they x-rayed her legs. Not her feet or ankles. The shot of pain relief they gave her has worn off and now she's back to tears. She can't walk to the br without the pain being too much. Thanks for nothing.

Forcefully gave me a HPV vaccine without even telling me what it was, also I was heavily medicated. When I called about it , I never got a call back.
