I asked for a spicy chicken bhuna. I think the chef forgot to put in spices into the curry. All I could taste was the tomatoes.

Paye, bihari boti and faluda was superb. The service was very slow, and they put no meat piece in paye and nihari, only bones. And the mixed grill has only 1-2 pieces of chicken tikka and 4 pieces of kebab which are not fresh but from frozen. The mixed grill is very pricey according to the few items they put in it. Plus not very clean tables and cutlery. There was food bits under and on our table. That’s why only three star otherwise I would have gave them 5
Awful service!!!! Very disappointed. We arrived at 12noon and placed our order within 5min. Waited patiently for 45min and then approached a member of staff to find out what’s happening. He said the approx wait time is 40-45min and the person who took our order didn’t bother to notify us of the wait time. After another 5min, We called the member of staff who took the order to find out about our order. His response was “oh the order is messed up!” We went speechless. When I asked him to find our how long more it would take he just couldn’t be bothered. He was least concerned and just kept walking around the restaurant. His attitude was unbelievable!!!!!! No doubt the food is good but what’s the point if they can’t deliver a good customer experience/service. I understand they had huge catering order at the same time but it’s all about finding the balance between proving good customer service and quality food. I’m not sure if I would ever come back for that type of poor service I just received today. The owner was apologetic and I appreciate that! TBH!!! I think they should hire staff who can provide a good customer experience, attentive to customer needs and to provide good service.
Fantastic food. Go for the specialties to really enjoy the authentic flavours - “Namak Mande” and the “Nihari”.
