Al Santo Reviews | Rating 4,5 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Al Santo is located in London, United Kingdom on 23 Vanston Pl, Fulham,. Al Santo is rated 4.5 out of 5 in the category italian restaurant in United Kingdom. There’s nowhere quite like Al Santo in London. A family run Italian and Greek restaurant on Fulham’s Vanston Place, Al Santo will make you feel like you’ve wandered into someone’s living room. Chairs and tables are an eclectic and homely mix, different coloured fairy lights glow from the ceiling beams, accordions and assorted instruments hang on the walls (plus an upside down bicycle hanging from the ceiling...)and the menus are made from 1960s album sleeves. The menu is an eclectic mix of Italian and Greek dishes, with the main focus on homemade pasta dishes. There is also an extensive selection of charcuterie served on wooden platters. The wine list is surprisingly big and varied; and all the regulars rave about the dessert selection (including the now famous tiramisu).

An amazing Greek/Italian eatery with Kitschy decorations, that’s perfect for intimate evenings with family/friends/dates. We had the tzatziki with pita for a starter which was nice enough followed by the sea bass and roasted vegetables and the vegetarian truffle carbonara. The sea bass was cooked beautifully and was lovely paired with the roast potatoes and tomato/vegetable stew. The vegetarian carbonara was silky smooth and extremely delicious. The portions were generous enough to make Al Santo good value for money as well. We had the tiramisu for dessert and it was very tasty, somehow satisfying a coffee lover and coffee hater. I would highly recommend Al Santo

Brilliant little family restaurant in the middle of busy Fulham. I have been at this place a couple times before the covid and it was always buzzing with guests eager to try their delicious mix if Italian and Greek cuisine. I especially enjoyed the gem of the Greek menu: Kleftico. Really sad to see it disappear from the new menu. In the post-lockdown menu you can see a selection of fresh pasta dishes and homemade gnocchi. Deserts are nice, but might not be the strongest side of this place. I really enjoyed an authentic revani cake and I think the restaurant can benefit from having more authentic/traditional Greek and Italian options. Overall: 5* will recommend to everyone.

Well... my favourite restaurant in London. Do I need to say anything else? At Al Santo I find what I miss of Italy...finally a proper italian taste! And also, the mix with many Greek dishes is just over the top!

Started off well was nice untill the food arrived... pasta was over cooked and too much pepper in the carbonara (several whole peppercorns).. really fatty bacon was used instead of pancetta. Employees very kind and good service. But not exactly what I'm paying for.
