Staff were nice apart from the head waiter, who acted like he deserved the most credit when actually he was rude and abrupt. Granted he was busy, but he didn't need to tell us, the customer, how busy yet experienced he was. The rest of the staff (AJ and the blonde waitress, sorry - we didn't catch your name) were lovely. But the main guy was a real let down. I've eaten in busier restaurants without being told what an inconvenience we were. The food. Starters: Average and over priced. My scallops were ok, but 13.95 for 3 was expensive. My partner had the mussels, most of which were closed and inedible The main - beef mosaic Wellington. The beef was ok, but it seems the rest of my meal was allowed to rest for the same amount of time as the beef, leaving everything including the jus cold. At 31, that's not ok. My partner had the seafood cocktail - again, most shellfish was closed and not edible. Below average and seriously over priced Overall it was average. For the price, it was below average. Felt like a bad attempt at fine dining. I wouldn't recommend, and won't be going back
Absolutely delicious. Nicest pizza I've had outside of Italy. The suppli alla Romana are also gorgeous.
This was an amazing resturant once, visit often especially by my partner. The service was terrible , they assumed by informing me how much a steak cost's!. It felt like I could not afford it! The food was over salted and medium, I feel like there is better in city for your money.
This was an amazing find while on a trip to Hull. The food was delicious, perfect Italian, and only wished we could have had And tried more things! The staff went above and beyond, they were so friendly, would talk to you and really cared that you were having a nice time. Would highly recommend!
