Absolutely one of my favorite Italian restaurants. I love the service and how attentive they are as well as the emphasis they put on flavor, which differentiate each dish they have in their own category yet each very delicious. The atmosphere is very quaint, subtle, elegant, romantic, and at the same time very family-oriented. If you are in the area because it is such a unique place, that if you blink you will miss it and drive right by. However, it is definitely worth going there. I myself drove over an hour just to go to that place but my girl lives about 25 minutes away. Highly recommended Al Italiano and I will definitely be going back!

This is a great Neighborhood Restaurant. I ordered a veal parmigiana with a side of pasta and steamed vegetables. Everything was cooked to my liking, the atmosphere inside was jovial. The wait staff was pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. There is inside seating as well as outside seating in a garden area. The menu is extensive for an Italian restaurant. The wine list shows wines of a lighter nature, not trying to outdo the flavors on the menu. I brought a Stolpman Vineyards 2011 Angeli which is a medium-bodied Sangiovese. This paired very well with the veal. I would recommend this place as a great go-to spot for a wonderful Italian meal.
I spent a lot of my time in Italy. This is hands down the most authentic Italian restaurant in whole LA. Great food, cute atmosphere. Specials are always amazing and the owner is always there making sure everyone is satisfied with their food and service. Hidden gem.
