Great customer service, the two ladies that were serving on the day I went were very friendly and good at communicating when we asked them a question about the menu and taste of food. We ordered the garlic prawns on rice with salad and wedges, very well cooked with a filling portion. Definitely will go back here, the atmosphere was very calm.

I've been to Al Forno three times now, and each time has been excellent. It's just a small local eatery, but it's well worth a visit. The food is always delicious and the service is great too. They're really accomodating when making adjustments to pasta dishes, and always get your requests right. Their gnocchi is superb and so soft, and their sauces are fantastic. I've had the gnocchi with chicken and avocado in a cream sauce, and I've had a gnocchi with chicken and avocado in a yummy curry sauce (sooooo good and way better than it might sound to some). Two out of the three visits, I've had and shared the chocolate mousse. The first time was delicious and the second time it tasted more like a light chocolate pudding/whip. The only minor negative I can say about Al Forno (and this is purely nitpicking), they don't play music so there's no real ambiance to the restaurant. Having said that, the decor is nice enough and the staff are friendly, so couple all of that with beautiful food, and this is now my favourite local Italian eatery. I highly recommend it. It's great for dinners with the family and it's really well priced.
Food to die for!!! We had a table with a perfect view of the kitchen, it was a joy to watch. (Like a well oiled machine). Back to the food though, the portion sizes are huge so be aware when ordering. The pate was delicious, I also had chicken penne and the passionfruit with ginger crumb for dessert. Delicious!!! Amazing food, great service but I would recommend you book well in advance as it is a very popular spot!!

Al Forno did a good job in satisfying my craving for carbs. Ordered the Genovese Fettucine and Bandito Pizza, together with garlic bread, and I was ready to load up on carbs. The Genovese Fettucine was my highlight. The pesto sauce was beautiful – nutty and bright flavours, with strong undertones of olive oil. The fettucine could be a bit more firm to bite, but overall a delicious dish. Also tasty was the Bandito pizza – boldly savoury, with a smoky flavour. The pizza crust was soft, and not too thick. Garlic bread was a bit tough though. Satisfying, filling and reasonably priced, this was just what I needed!
Worst restaurant ever been. Minimum wait time is 1 hour. They should learn Customer service . Never visiting nor ordering for takeaway anymore.
