I have been coming to Aakash for over 30 years and will continue to do so in the future. The food has never been anything short of fantastic and the staff are absolutely brilliant, friendly and very helpful. However, I have to say that on the occasion we visited on 19th of August that although the food and service were up to their usual high standards, there was absolutely no social distancing in place and we felt that customers were being put at risk. Once again I do not wish to give a bad star rating as I have always loved this restaurant and will continue to go again but I was very disappointed with the lack of distancing measures in place during the pandemic.

I must say I’m very happy with the service ordered a mild vindaloo and was very tasty. Delivery driver was also very fast I assumed he worked for top gear. 5 out of 5 for ratings will always order from here due to the top service must also say onion bhajees were out of this world. highly recommend this place
Well I can recommend a take-away from the Akash because it is one of my most enjoyable food experiences. Yes, I have been before and eaten in their very smart restaurant with excellent waiters, service, delicious food and wide bar choice. However if you can't book a table right now, don't think you cannot have the best of Asian cuisine because their take-aways are also amazing.
Having been a regular for a number of years, we found ourselves ordering a takeaway last night. Not only was the food amazing, but they even offered to deliver out of area to us (by Ali himself too!). This is by far the best Indian food in the area, not just West Bromwich. Well done guys for staying open. Will be ordering again soon. Recommend
Went there the first time, food was ok however they were rationing the portions due to the government 50% off scheme. Then, went in there the second time. The food portions were bigger however the quality was poor, we ordered fries but received chips even though when we ordered, we were told they would be fries. Chips were budget frozen chips, we ordered bhuna curry and chicken palak but both were very sweet and didnt have any sort of spice just caramelised onions. Mint sauce tasted like sweet chilli sauce and not mint sauce at all. When we questioned this, we were told this is what you get in restaurants as though an assumption was made by the manager that we had never eaten in a restaurant before. We were also told that the quality of food probably isn’t great because they are busy. After this experience, we will not be going back.
